“Qualifications would never be a burden.”
This is a word that my homeroom teacher used to say when I was in junior high school.
In Japan, there are a wide variety of qualifications such as Kanji Kentei, English Kentei, teacher license and nurse qualification.
There are many situations in life where it is advantageous to have a qualification, such as college entrance exams and job hunting.
Therefore, it was the teacher’s theory that having many qualifications would expand the options for the future, and that qualifications would never be a burden on life.
I don’t agree with this word at all.
There are two reasons.
First, if you have a driver’s license, you may be appointed as a driver at a drinking party.
Second, you may be discouraged from trying new things when trying to choose a profession from the qualifications you already have.

“Shikaku wa omoni ni naranai.”

Futatsu-me wa, sudeni motte iru shikaku no naka kara shokugyō o erabou to shite, atarashī koto ni chōsen suru kiryoku o nakushite shimau kanōsei ga arukaradesu.
